Mantra is a short phrase used to conjure up personal courage saying NO to all else in order to apply vigorous attempt in answering a higher calling, acting in service to a greater good. In the year 2020, the mantra for all in our humanity should be:
Public-spirited action, not private panic!
Thanks to Covid-19, the sky is falling… Please flatten the curve and stay at home, but please do not go into couch mode… But cowering in the dark places of our minds doesn’t help. Rather than private panic, we need public-spirited action. — Pediatric Surgery Fellow Dr. Cornelia Griggs, author of this article here in The New York Times March 19th, 2020
