Thumos is a Greek word. Since 2017, it carries a new meaning. Thumos language is a set of concepts for use in mastering relationships through shared understanding of terms but at a level of granularity much finer than traditionally expected. A version of Thumos language is expressed as a glossary of over 500 entries, each of which is a thumos thumbnail definition. Below are four examples.
- Concise; that means, meaningful in few words.
- Thumbnail; that means, short but concise.
- Definition; that means, explanation of meaning.
- Thumos; that means, master of relationships.
